Our Story

Having always had a passion for cooking and an appreciation of good food Danielle saw the need for more places to eat out on Straddie and in 2018 bought a little yellow food van.

With a alternating weekly menu we set up at Cylinder beach each weekend and fed the public as well as catered for weddings on the Island.

We said good bye to the Sunshine Street food van in June 2022.

We've expanded our offerings to include packaged retail meals and wholesale items, which are now conveniently accessible not just in cafes, restaurants, and during special functions in Straddie and Brisbane, but also directly from our Cleveland-based kitchen and storefront during daytime hours.
